On Sunday 10th December our friends and supporters beared the British weather to meet for the Friends of Street Children Bangladesh annual fundraising meal, this time held at Monsoon restaurant located in Brick Lane’s Banglatown in the East End of London.

Mudassir who helped create the Crowdfunder video for our book last year was in London, and it was great to see our previous Trustee and longtime supporter Hamida.

The event raised £1,100 from donations given in advance and on the day, from sales of books, prints and items made by the children at LEEDO Peace Home.
