Supporters of the street children battled the British weather to convene in Brick Lane’s Banglatown to have a meal in support of the educational projects in Dhaka. Following the meal a special screening of the Bangladeshi classic film ‘The Clay Bird’ took place (Director: Tareque Masud, 2002). The lunchtime meal raised £350. A huge thank you to all those who came and especially to those who travelled from outside of London to support the initiative!
