Friends of Street Children Bangladesh started in 2016 to help alleviate poverty and increase the life chances of street children in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This past year we have undertaken workshops with the children to create a co-produced book telling their stories of surviving on the streets. The bi-lingual book in English and Bengali, for children aged 9+, is called ‘The Street is Not a Home’ . The author is Mike Sherriff and the illustrator is Saif Osmani, two trustees of Friends of Street Children Bangladesh.
