It was a real pleasure see our long time supporter Hamida Chowdhury who led the fundraising meal by bringing along her friends and supporters and for holding a great raffle on the night! Hamida Chowdhury says:

“We greatly appreciate all those whom attended yesterday’s Iftar gathering at the Kolapata Restaurant in aid of Leedo Street Children on behalf of Friend’s Of Street Children Bangladesh.

It was a privilege to continue supporting the Peace Home that I have personally visited several times in the past, the sheer dedication and perseverance of the Leedo volunteers is truly an inspiration to us all supporting this cause. The volunteers search tirelessly and selflessly every night for vulnerable children sleeping on railway stations, ferry ports, all access points possible, hoping to reach out and rescue as many as they can find to bring them to a safe haven. It is indeed profound and heartbreaking to witness in reality.”
