Following our first successful art workshop with the children of LEEDO Peace Home on the theme of ‘Memories of a Street’, the Friends of Street Children Bangladesh are holding a second workshop on Saturday 4th September 2021 at 10.30am on the theme of ‘Journey on a River’.
This workshop forms part of Totally Thames 2021 a London-based river festival, with support from the environmental charity Thames 21. The online workshop will highlight journeys taken on the River Thames in London and the Buriganga river in Dhaka.
The workshop will be participative and held online with interaction with some of the children at LEEDO Peace Home who are passionate about art. London-based artist Saif Osmani will lead participants through a perspective drawing and Thames 21 will lead a post workshop sharing session.
