9th May: 16 people held an online reunion with the street children who gave accounts of the difficult situation they face during the lock down on the streets of Dhaka. The children sang and danced for the online visitors and gave updates about their new transitional shelter that now has bunk beds thanks to generous donations.
Friends of Street Children Bangladesh announced that they will help facilitate a mentoring programme for each of the children in their chosen educational subjects.
The online event raised £670 towards vital resources like food and electricity and towards the education projects coming up.
