Friends of Street Children Bangladesh are looking for new trustees to join their board.
Being a trustee is one of the most powerful ways in which you can contribute to an important cause.
You will play an integral part in good governance by adhering closely to the organisation’s mission and in the interest of their charitable aims. Trustees will demonstrate a passion for providing opportunities for street connected children to enable them to improve their life chances.
Voluntary and community roles enrich your professional development. Being a trustee will teach you strategic oversight by honing critical thinking, problem-solving and team-working skills. The role will help you scope out opportunities and open you up to new professional networks.
Through trusteeship you can gain a clearer idea of your own professional strengths and weaknesses whilst understanding how to adapt your knowledge to useful ends with the street children charity. We value communication and people skills, so you will learn how to constructively challenge ideas of fellow trustees whilst finding effective ways to engage in the charity sector.
Friends of Street Children Bangladesh are a UK-based charity set up to help raise funds for educational activities to help street-affiliated children.
